Regal Theaters $1 Summer Movies: Next Up 'Pan' and 'Smurfs 2'

Regal Theaters will continue its $1 summer movies series this Tuesday and Wednesday (July 5 and 6) with screenings of "Pan" and "The Smurfs 2."

The Summer Movie Express series offers $1 movies at 10 a.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays each week this summer through mid-August. Movies are screened at select Regal Theater locations. Click here to find a participating theater near you.

Two movies scheduled each week will be screened both days, according to the theater.

About next week's movies: "Pan" was released in 2015 and is rated PG. "The Smurfs 2" was released in 2013 and is rated PG. (Both trailers are below.)

Other $1 films to be screened include "Home," "The Peanuts Movie," "Despicable Me 2," and "Alvin & The Chipmunks: The Road Chip."

Tickets to the movies are $1. Movies are screened Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10 a.m. through Aug. 17.
