Road Paving Project Rolling Along In Bristol Township

Twelve roads are scheduled for milling and paving this week as part of the Bristol Township 2023 Road Paving Project.

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA —The township is rolling along with its road paving project this summer.

After completing the first round of streets last month, public works crews are now conducting paving and milling on more roads this week, township officials said.

On Monday, the township was scheduled to work on Rolling Lane and Outlook Lane.

The rest of the road paving schedule over the next week is as follows:

  • 7/11- Outlook Lane, Dogwood Turn, Goodturn Road
  • 7/12- Goodturn Road, Iris Road, Ivy Hill Road
  • 7/13- Ivy Hill Road, Black Walnut Road
  • 7/14- Black Walnut Road, Broad Street, Fairview Avenue
  • 7/17- Overlook Avenue, River Road, Rosa Avenue
  • 7/18- Christine Avenue

Last month, Township Manager Randee Elton reported that the township would tackle the following roads: Olds Boulevard, Hickory Lane, Appletree Turn, Outlook Lane, Rolling Lane, Goodturn Road, Iris Road, Ivy Hill Road, Black Walnut Road, Broad Street, Fairview Avenue, Overlook Avenue, River Road, Rosa Avenue, Christine Avenue, and Dogwood Turn.

The Township Council recently awarded Glasson Grants to five volunteer fire companies and two rescue squads. The grants were handed out at the June 15 meeting by Councilman Joe Glasson. handed the grants to the

"I just want to thank all the volunteer fire companies and rescue squads," Council President Craig Bowen said. "It's great to put a name to all the different fire companies and we really appreciate everything you guys do day and night."

The grants went to the Croydon Fire Company, Edgely Fire Company, Levittown #2 Fire Company, Newportville Fire Company, Third District Fire Company, Bucks County Rescue Squad, and the Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad.
