A road rage incident ended in a shooting Monday off I-95 in Bristol Township, sources say.

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — A road rage incident ended in a shooting Monday off I-95 in Bristol Township, sources say.

The incident happened around 5 p.m. Two drivers were getting off the highway onto Rt. 413, when a man pulled up to the victim and fired two shots, according to reports.

No injures were reported but the victim's car, a silver Hyundai Accent, was left with two bullet holes. Metal and rubber trim stopped the bullet from injuring the victim, according to 6ABC.

"If the door didn't stop the round, he would have taken one in the chest," Bristol Township Police Lt. Ralph Johnson told the news channel. Police believe the incident was related to road rage.

The driver who fired the bullets was flashing high beams and being aggressive, police told 6ABC.

Then, as they were exiting the highway, the suspect pulled up next to the Hyundai and told the driver to lower his window, NBC10 reported. It was then that the suspect pointed the semi-automatic pistol at the Hyundai and fired the shots.

The suspect is described as a white man with brown hair. He's believed to be approximately 30 years old, with a mustache and a goatee. Police believe he's driving a grey 2003 Buick Rendezvous.
