Sesame Place Holding End-Of-Summer Splash
The Middletown Township amusement park will conclude its summer season with fireworks over the Labor Day weekend.

MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA —Sesame Place will conclude its "Most Splashtacular Season Ever" with fireworks this Labor Day weekend to mark the "unofficial" end of summer.
The amusement park invites guests to "splish and splash" for the final days of summer with exciting events and an offer exclusive to First Responders.
On Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 2 and 3, guests can enjoy the park’s Labor Day Celebration, featuring Meet & Greets with Elmo in his patriotic attire and the “C is for Celebrate” Labor Day Fireworks, exclusively on Sunday, Sept. 3 at 8 p.m.

Guests can also take advantage of the Labor Day Sweet Treats & Fireworks Viewing package. This offers guests a Meet & Greet with Elmo and a spread of sweet treats at Dine with Elmo & Friends, followed by an escort to a reserved viewing area for the best view of the fireworks.
Limited Sweet Treats & Fireworks Viewing packages are available online for $30 per person.

The park is celebrated its "Most Splashtacular Season Ever" this summer with the recent debut of the all-new interactive water play area, Bert & Ernie’s Splashy Shores, a new tropical-themed land dedicated to splashy water fun, Big Bird’s Beach, and all-new entertainment experiences.
At the all-new water play area, Bert & Ernie's Splashy Shores, guests can splish, splash, spray, and play under tipping water buckets, spraying jets, a water curtain, a water bobble, and a spraying water tower.
Big Bird's Beach, a new tropical-themed land dedicated to splashy water fun, is also debuting this summer. Previously known as Twiddlebug Land, the area has been colorfully transformed and creatively updated. Guests can now enjoy exciting water slides, a family-friendly wave pool, a refreshing splash and spray area, and shaded seating areas.
The park is also planning an event to honor First Responders the following weekend.
On Sept. 9 and 10, Sesame Place will celebrate hometown heroes and thank those who keep local communities safe at First Responders Weekend.
Everyone’s favorite furry friends will be dressed in police officer and firefighter uniforms for Meet & Greets at Photos with Elmo & Friends throughout the day. Guests can get an up-close look at emergency vehicles with the Emergency Vehicle Display on Sesame Plaza and during the First Responders Pre-Parade just before the Sesame Street Party Parade.
In addition, Sesame Place will offer qualifying first responders one single-day admission ticket free of charge and a discount on additional admission tickets. Offer details can be found online.
Guests can splish and splash on their favorite Sesame Street-themed water attractions, including Bert & Ernie’s Splashy Shores and Big Bird’s Beach, both introduced in May, through Sunday, Sept. 10.
- Park hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 2 and 3.
- Labor Day Sweet Treats & Fireworks experience begins at 7:10 p.m. Sunday.
- "C…is for Celebrate!” Labor Day Fireworks begin at 8 p.m. (Viewing areas are available around the park.)
Sesame Place will hold family-friendly events all year long with the all-new Mardi Gras Celebration, Elmo’s Eggstravaganza, Elmo’s Springtacular, Sesame Summer Splash, The Count’s Halloween Spooktacular, and A Very Furry Christmas.
