​Shannon M. McDonough, Lifelong Levittown Resident, Dies At 21

​Shannon M. McDonough died Aug. 9 at Aria Health Bucks Campus in Langhorne. She was 21.

Shannon M. McDonough died Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2016, at Aria Health Bucks Campus in Langhorne. She was 21.

Born in Langhorne, the beloved daughter of Pamela S. Duffy (Russell Mayer) and James McDonough (Deana), Shannon was a lifelong resident of Levittown.

She was a member of Saint Michael the Archangel Parish, and had attended Pennsbury High School.

She enjoyed roller skating, softball, helping others, and putting a smile on the face of everyone she met.

Shannon was the loving mother of Addison and Grayson; and sister of Cathy McDonough, James Wick, Emily and Matthew McDonough. She was the granddaughter of James and Betty McDonough, Norman Duffy, and Bertha Polk. Shannon also will be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to call from 6 until 9 p.m. Monday, and from 9 until 10 a.m. Tuesday, at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the children's College Fund.
