Shooting Threat Raises Police Presence At Neshaminy High
Neshaminy's schools superintendent said a note was found in a high school bathroom threatening a shooting on Wednesday.
LANGHORNE, PA —Neshaminy High School will have a high police presence on Wednesday following the finding of a note that mentioned a possible shooting.
Schools Superintendent Jason Bowman sent a letter to high school parents stating that the Middletown Township Police Department investigated the anonymous note and found it not to be credible.
The superintendent said the "threatening note" was found in a bathroom on Tuesday.

While the note might not be credible, Bowman told parents that the school district would be taking extra precautions either way on Wednesday to ensure the safety of students and staff.
"Out of an abundance of caution, we have an increased police presence throughout the day (Wednesday)," Bowman said.

The school district has security staff and will also have the two police departments that serve the school district —the Lower Southampton Township and Middletown Township police departments —on hand.
Chris Stanley, the school district's spokesman, said that the district also always has school resource officers in its schools.
