Police Chief Steve Henry confirmed to the Courier Times there was a report of an anti-freeze poisoning attempt and said the borough's animal control officer is investigating. No charges have been filed.

The investigation was launched after a resident on Second Avenue told authorities someone was putting anti-freeze in bowls to poison pets.
