St. Michael's Fair Opening Normal Time Friday Following Stabbing, Brawl

Fair organizers encourage the community to come, saying last night's violence was an aberration. "Most that attend are law abiding people."

St. Michael's Fair will be opening at its normal time Friday following a stabbing and brawl that began there Thursday night and spilled out to a nearby parking lot.

"People please, don't get pulled down by the actions of the very few at this event. Most that attend are law abiding people of our community, we will be opening our normal time tonight and hope that the rest of our community come and join us for an evening of family fun," fair organizers announced on Facebook.

The fair opens at 6 p.m.
