Standoff Causes Brief Lockdown At Neshaminy High School

A standoff near Neshaminy High School Thursday evening has been resolved with a suspect in custody, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported.

The publication said the standoff was between police and a man barricaded in a home on Granite Avenue, which is a block from the school.

The standoff, which began around 7 p.m., caused a brief lockdown at the school, 6ABC reported.

The standoff ended at 10 p.m. and prompted the cancellation of evening activities, the Inquirer said.
