State Rep. Galloway Will Give Up Seat For Judgeship
Galloway ran unopposed in Tuesday's general election for Magisterial Judge in Falls Township. A special election is needed to replace him.

LEVITTOWN, PA —State Rep. John T. Galloway is heading to court in January.
The longtime state representative will be grabbing a gavel as he becomes Magisterial Judge 07-01-10 after running uncontested in Tuesday's general election following his May primary election win.
And with that move to the bench, the legislative seat he has held since 2007 will be up for grabs.

The Pennsbury High School graduate will serve as state representative until being sworn in as judge.
A special election will determine his replacement.
"I am running to be your District Judge, fair and impartial. I am also running to help people, especially young people, change the trajectory of their lives. While it is gratifying to do this on the legislative level, I believe it will be even more impactful to help individuals as a judge," Galloway said in his Patch primary election profile.
