The 2nd-grade SPARK students have been diving into animal adaptations — exploring how traits help animals survive and thrive. Inspired by storytelling and imagination (yes, even a little Disney magic ), students connected science concepts to real-world examples in creative and meaningful ways.
"You’ll see adorable falcon baby photos as students investigate how young falcons grow, adapt, and survive in their environments," school officials said. "From sharp talons to powerful wings, students discovered how structure relates to function — and they can’t wait to share what they’ve learned!"
School officials said the expo will take place throughout Pennsbury High School West, including:
- The immersive Planetarium Classroom, where science, technology, and inquiry come together in powerful ways!
- Live Eyes on the Wild animal adaptation presentations connecting biology, environmental science, and sustainability
Attendees can talk directly with senior innovators about how their K–12 STEM journey prepared them to tackle complex problems through authentic research, engineering design, and innovation.
"This is your chance to see the full STEM story — from 2nd-grade falcons to senior capstone breakthroughs," school officials said.
Everyone who comes to the expo will receive a special STEM-themed take-home surprise to continue the learning at home.
