Stolen Catalytic Converter, Microwave Thefts Top Bristol Crimes

The Bristol Borough Police Department has released its blotter of recent criminal incidents.

BRISTOL BOROUGH, PA —A catalytic converter was stolen. So were a few bottles of liquor, and some microwaves.

Those were some of the criminal incidents reported by the Bristol Borough Police Department in its police blotter for the period of Feb. 13 to Feb. 28.

Feb. 13

  • 7:34 a.m. 600 block Garden St. —A 39-year-old Croydon man, a 40-year-old Morrisvile man, and a 33-year-old Levittown man were all arrested for theft of metal and receiving stolen property. One of the men was also charged with possession of a controlled substance. All three will be summoned to court.
  • 10:39 a.m., burglary, 2207 Radcliffe St. —Suspects stole three microwave ovens (still in boxes) near an office, valued at $180.
  • 11:30 a.m., criminal mischief, 600 block Pond St. —Suspect scratched passenger side of vehicle sometime overnight.

  • 12:32 p.m., theft, 1900 block Wilson Ave. —A debit card and a small black wallet was stolen.

Feb. 17

  • 9:04 a.m., warrant arrest, 200 block Buckley St. —A 24-year-old Bristol man was arrested on a warrant from Pennsylvania State Parole. He was transported to Bucks County Prison.
  • 9:30 a.m., 10 Canal St. —A 62-year-old Bristol man was cited for open container and a borough ordinance for public consumption.

Feb. 18

  • 2:08 p.m., criminal mischief, 2200 block Farragut Ave. —Suspect broke glass to the front door of the residence.
  • 10:30 p.m., Mill Street Parking Lot, Donald A. Diehl —A 52-year-old Morrisville man, 20-year-old Croydon man and 54-year-old Langhorne man were all cited for borough ordinance violations.

Feb. 21

  • 9:20 a.m., Lincoln Ave. —An 18-year-old Bristol woman was cited for disorderly conduct.
  • 11:17 a.m., warrant arrest —A 29-year-old Bristol man was arrested and released to the Bucks County Sheriff's Department.
  • 4:00 p.m., theft, 400 block Radcliffe St. —A package containing a new cell phone was stolen from property.

Feb. 22

  • 4:18 a.m., 900 block Pond St. —A 39-year-old Bristol man was cited for disorderly conduct and noise violation.
  • 8:29 p.m., 100 block Otter St. —A 41-year-old Bristol woman was arrested for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. She will be summoned to court.

Feb. 23

  • 7:05 a.m., burglary, G-Fuel, 455 Bristol Pike —Suspect stole cigars, rolling papers, electrical equipment valued at $600.
  • 11:00 a.m., theft of vehicle parts, 500 block Swain St. —Suspect stole a catalytic converter from a vehicle valued at $1,500.
  • 8:35 p.m., theft, 700 block Second Ave. —Child's bicycle was stolen from a residence.
  • 11:20 p.m., 500 block Second Ave. —A 41-year-old Elkins Park man was arrested for obstructing emergency services, disorderly conduct, and criminal trespass. He will be summoned to court to answer charges.

Feb. 24

  • 4:54 p.m., retail theft, Wine & Spirits, 238 Commerce Circle —Suspect stole bottles of Tito's vodka and Captain Morgan, valued at $43.68.
  • 11:00 p.m., 400 block Washington St. —A 29-year-old Philadelphia man was arrested for public drunkenness. He will be summoned to court.

Feb. 25

  • 2:41 a.m., 400 block of Wood Street —A 26-year-old Bristol man and a 31-year-old Bristol man were arrested for simple assault, harassment, and disorderly conduct. They will be summoned to court.
  • 2:17 p.m., theft from vehicle, 400 block Second Ave. —A registration was stolen.
  • 5:37 a.m., Pond Street —A 41-year-old Bristol Township man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance. He will be summoned to court.

Feb. 26

  • 2:15 a.m., Jackson Street and Farragut Avenue —A 45-year-old Tullytown man was cited for disorderly conduct.

Feb. 27

  • 11:07 a.m., theft, 1000 Beaver St. —A 9 caliber firearm was stolen from a vehicle.
  • 11:20 a.m., warrant arrest, Radcliffe Street and Seabird Drive —A 30-year-old Bristol man was arrested and turned over to the Bucks County Sheriff's Department.
  • 12:00 p.m. —A 41-year-old Elkins Park man was arrested for an incident on Oct. 18, 2022, at Route 13 and Fourth Avenue. He was charged with firearms not to be carried without a license. He will be summoned to court.

Feb. 28

  • 12:45 a.m., theft, 1201 Wilson Ave. —Tools and copper tubing stolen valued at $10,000 stolen overnight from the property.
