Strong-Armed Robberies Under Investigation In Bristol Borough, Police Say

Two strong-armed robberies were reported in ​Bristol Borough on Sunday. One victim was hospitalized for moderate injuries.

BRISTOL BOROUGH, PA — Two strong-armed robberies were reported in Bristol Borough on Sunday, Sept. 24, police said.

According to police, the first incident took place at approximately 3 a.m. at the Bristol Train Station on Prospect Street. The victim, who was waiting for a taxi, was approached by three people that he described as being black males in their late teens or early twenties. They were all wearing hooded sweatshirts, police said.

One of the three assaulted the victim, taking cash and a debit card. The suspects then fled towards Garden Street, police said.

A second incident was reported at 11:15 p.m. Sunday. According to police, the victim was on the walking path located to the rear of the 400 Block of Pond Street when they were approached by two black males. The males were described as being in their late teen or early twenties, and they too were wearing hooded sweatshirts.

Both subjects assaulted the victim and took his money and cell phone, police said They then fled toward Dorrance Street. The victim received moderate injuries and was transported to Lower Bucks Hospital by Bucks County EMS, according to information from Bristol Borough Police.
