'Suspicious' Motorcylist Near Pennsbury Schools No Threat: Police

FALLSINGTON, PA —A "suspicious individual" seen near Eleanor Roosevelt Elementary School, the middle school campus, and surrounding neighborhoods poses no threat, school officials said.

Pennsbury Schools Superintendent Thomas A. Smith updated Monday's notice to the school community about someone on a motorcycle around the area.

"Falls Township Police notified us that they were able to make contact with the individual," Smith said. "After a thorough investigation, the police do not believe that this individual is a threat to our school community."

Smith acknowledged "the responsiveness" of the Falls Township Police Department.

"Their continued support of our schools and communities is much appreciated," Smith said. "We would also like to acknowledge the families who reported this concern to our administration. Actions like this ensure our schools and communities remain safe for all."
