Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

Erin Krusen is not just a general education teacher, she changes students’ lives. In addition to making learning fun for her students, she teaches them what it means to have respect for others and themselves. She is always seen at school functions, supporting and mentoring our school spirit “Tiger Team” and being part of our school-wide positive behavior committee. What not everyone sees is how she will go to see her students playing in a sports competition, collect clothes for a needy student, or just listen to students and let them know that they do matter. She makes every student feel special.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

She is the teacher that every student wishes they had and the teacher every teacher should try to be.
