A teen victim was injured after being shot in the face Sunday in Bristol Borough, police said.

A teen victim was injured in a Sunday shooting in Bristol Borough, police said. According to police, the shooting took place on Headley Street at approximately 10:50 pm.
According to police, authorities received reports of shots fired. Witnesses saw a car racing away on Pine Street. When officers arrived, they were told an 18-year-old victim was shot in the face and was getting dropped off at Lower Bucks Hospital.
Around the same time, officers stopped a car on Corson Street that had three people inside. The white Volkswagen had a bullet hole in the back window and blood was visible inside the car.

The incident is under investigation.
Police said the victim, an 18-year-old male, was transferred to Temple Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
