Teen Shot Multiple Times In Bristol Borough

A teen was shot multiple times in Bristol Borough on Monday night, police said.

A 19-year-old Croydon man was shot multiple times Monday night in Bristol Borough.

The shooting was reported at 9 p.m. along the 300 block of Penn Street. When police arrived, they found the victim on the sidewalk. He was transported to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital by Bucks County EMS with multiple wounds and is currently in stable condition, police said.

According to police, the victim was approached by two tall, thin black men. The suspects were last seen fleeing towards Pond Street on foot. The shooting "does not appear to be" a random act, said police.

The gunfire also hit several cars parked on the street, according to police.

The investigation into the shooting is being conducted by Bristol Borough Police and the Bucks County Detectives. Anyone with any information should contact Detective William Davis at 215-788-7813 ext 2425.
