Three Students Injured In Pennsbury Bus Crash

FALLSINGTON, PA —Three students suffered minor injuries after their Pennsbury School District bus was involved in an accident Wednesday afternoon on Bristol-Oxford Valley Road, school officials said.

The bus was carrying students from Bucks County Technical High School and Conwell-Egan Catholic High School when the accident happened around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at 198 Bristol-Oxford Valley Road at Terrace Road on the border of Falls and Middletown townships, school officials said.

After the crash, Pennsbury Transportation Director Rebecca Kurtz, Supervisor of Bus Maintenance Derek Cesari, and district security officers were on the scene, said Jennifer Neill, the district's supervisor of public relations.

She said that paramedics were dispatched to the accident scene.

Levittown Now reported that police investigating said that two vehicles were traveling in opposite directions on Bristol-Oxford Valley Road when they collided.

The agencies on the scene included the Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad, Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad, Bucks County Rescue Squad, and Tri-Hampton Rescue Squad was also at the scene, Levittown Now stated.

The accident marked the second time in less than a month that a Pennsbury school bus has been involved in an accident.

Late last month, three students were injured when a Pennsbury school bus picking up students at Wellington Woods Apartments was struck by another vehicle as it was exiting the complex at West Trenton Avenue and Sweet Briar Road in Morrisville.
