Traffic Cleared After Vehicle Fire On Route 1 North In Middletown: PennDOT

A vehicle fire caused a traffic back up on U.S. Route 1 north near the exit for Old Lincoln Highway/state Route 213 according to PennDOT. PennDOT cameras show the scene has been cleared and traffic is flowing again

PennDOT cameras showed a long line of traffic at the exit, where PennDOT said a lane restriction was place due to the vehicle fire.

The scene was clear by about 11:37 a.m.
