Tree Lighting, Christmas Parade To Welcome Season In Bristol Borough

Bristol Borough is teaming up with William Penn Bank to present a "Christmas Story Tree Lighting" on Friday night, Nov. 24.

BRISTOL BOROUGH, PA — Bristol Borough will usher in the holiday season with "A Christmas Story Tree Lighting" on Friday, Nov. 24 from 5 to 8 p.m. on Historic Mill Street.

Presented by Bristol Borough and William Penn Bank, the free evening will include live ice sculpting, a Valerina Ballet-produced kids dance, Christmas carolers, live music, DJ and more.

Santa is expected to arrive around 7:15 p.m. to light the tree at Mill and Radcliffe followed by pictures with Santa.

Christmas goodies will be offered by Calm Waters Coffee, Papas Pretzels, the Forager, Awesome Little Cupcakes, and Donna's Delicious Delights.

This year's Bristol Christmas Parade is scheduled to step off at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 25 from Simon and Schuster on Farragut Avenue. The parade will march down Farragut and Pond Street before making a turn onto Mill Street. The parade ends at Mill and Radcliffe.

The rain date for the parade is Sunday, Nov. 25 at 1 p.m.
