Truck Carrying Garbage Overturns In Falls Township
Falls Township Police said garbage littered Tyburn Road Wednesday morning.
FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA —The Falls Township Police Department will conduct a full vehicle inspection this week of a tractor-trailer that overturned, littering a township road with garbage.
Falls Township Police Lt. Chris Clark said that at 9:27 a.m. Wednesday, a tractor-trailer that was carrying garbage overturned on Tyburn Road as it attempted to turn onto New Ford Mill Road.
As a result of the accident, garbage was strewn on both roadways, oil leaked from the vehicle, and a fire hydrant was knocked off its base, Clark said.

A preliminary police investigation determined that the driver was driving too fast for conditions, causing the vehicle to overturn.
Additionally, the driver was not properly licensed and the vehicle lacked proper registration and inspection, police said.

There were no reported injuries.
