LEVITTOWN, PA —Wawa's new convenience store that is opening Thursday on 3800 Bristol-Oxford Valley Road will serve beer and gas.

"Our new store is a relocation of an older store and will offer customers new services like fuel and beer," Wawa spokeswoman Jennifer Wolf told Patch Wednesday.

The location will be the second in Bucks County to serve alcohol, Wolf said.

She said the Langhorne convenience store located on East Lincoln Highway, which opened over the summer, also serves beer.

Wawa will hold the grand opening from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Thursday. The event features an outdoor ribbon-cutting ceremony and limited-edition Wawa "Goose Vibes Only" T-shirts for the first 100 customers. Wawa mascot Wally Goose is also expected to appear.

The grand opening of the Levittown location marks the 34th to open this year out of the 41 total stores projected to open across Wawa’s operating area in 2022.

"We look forward to serving the Levittown community," Wolf said.

Levittown is a popular spot for Wawa locations.

Falls Township also opened the first drive-through Wawa in the state in the Morrisville section on West Trenton Avenue.

Another Wawa is planned for early next year in Falls Township. That convenience store is under construction at 530 Lincoln Highway.

In late September, Falls Township supervisors approved a liquor license transfer for the Wawa to sell alcohol once it opens. The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board must also authorize the transfer of the license from Springfield Township.

The new Levittown store will have Nancy St. Hilaire serving as general manager, leading a team of about 50 associates filling new full- and part-time positions.

The store is fully equipped with built-to-order fresh food kitchen featuring its signature hoagies (80 million hoagies sold annually), food innovations such as the customizable burger, coffee (195 million cups sold annually), the Sizzli breakfast sandwich, specialty beverages, baked goods, dairy products, juices and teas, plus packaged goods, fuel services, among other amenities.

In addition to the store offerings, customers can use mobile ordering, curbside pickup, delivery options and a new online catering feature.
