BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — A house fire Wednesday morning in Bristol was the second blaze local firefighters were called to deal with in less than 24 hours.

Both fires are believed to have been accidental, according to township Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito.

At 10:14 a.m. Wednesday, fire crews were called to a home on Geranium Road after a passing motorist saw smoke and called 911. The fire started in the living room and had heavily damaged the home, Dippolito said.

Tuesday afternoon, many of those same agencies responded to a shed fire on Fairway Avenue that investigators believe was caused by a propane heater. No one was injured in that fire.
