Weekend Fire Under Investigation In Bristol Township
The Levittown Fire Company No. 2 said the fire early Saturday morning was the third in a week in Bristol Township.
BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA —Fire officials said that a weekend fire that caused heavy damage to a township home is under investigation.
The fire on Ice Pond Road happened at 2 a.m. Saturday. It was the third one in the past week in the township, said the Levittown Fire Company No. 2.
Kevin Dippolito, Bristol Township's fire marshal, said that the home suffered heavy damage and that the fire is under investigation.

He said that no one was home at the time of the fire.
The Levittown Fire Company No. 2 said that the fire in the home in the township's Indian Creek section was found on the first and second floors.

The fire was brought under control in 30 minutes, fire officials said.
The Edgely, Newport, Newportville, Third District, and William Penn fire companies assisted Levittown Fire Company No. 2.
