Earth Day Cleanup, Kids Tea Party Among Weekend Events

LADIES NIGHT OUT

What: A Ladies Night Out Basket Raffle to support Maple Shade Elementary School

When/Where: Friday at 6 p.m. at Maple Shade Elementary School

CIRCUS OLYMPUS

What: A performance of "Circus Olympus," a lighter take on mythological adventure.

When/where: Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Pennsbury High School

Cost: $5

TINY TEA TIME

What: Bring your favorite stuffed animal friend to the library for a pretend tea party. Kids will read stories, play a game, and crafts.

When/where: Saturday at 12 p.m. at the Levittown Branch of the Bucks County Public Library

Cost: Free; this is a drop program and open to all ages

SHREDDING DAY

What: Free community shredding day

When/where: Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Bucks First Federal Credit Union, 610 Wistar Rd, Fairless Hills

Cost: Free

DETECTIVE CHRISTOPHER JONES 5K

What: 5K to benefit the Detective Christopher Jones Foundation. Proceeds benefit scholarships for Bensalem and Neshaminy students as well as the Community Emergency Relief Fund.

When/where: Saturday at 9 a.m. at 1249 W Maple Ave, Langhorne. (Park is located across from Keystone Kids Club)

Cost: $25

EARTH DAY CLEANUP

What: Earth Day cleanup event at Silver Lake Nature Center

When/where: Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Silver Lake Nature Center, 1306 Bath Rd
