Officers arrived and located a woman, later identified as Khan, at the scene and observed blood on her clothing.
Police also located a man, identified as 38-year-old Faisal Iqbal, lying in a grassy area southeast of the parking lot. Iqbal had visible gunshot injuries and a gun was found nearby.
The Bucks County Rescue Squad responded to the scene and determined that Iqbal was deceased.
Detectives with the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office and the Bristol Borough Police Department spoke to multiple witnesses who told them Khan and Iqbal had been talking in the area of the coastline.
Khan, they said, was speaking loudly in another language, authorities said. Shortly after, a pop sound was heard.
Iqbal, who had been seated, stood up and began wrestling with Khan and additional gunshots were heard, witnesses observed.
The two then began to walk from the coastline toward the parking lot area, where Iqbal told at least one witness to call 911.
Khan then shot Iqbal two times, and he collapsed in the grassy area between the water and the parking lot, witnesses observed.
As Iqbal lay on the ground defenseless, Khan walked over to him and shot him twice in the torso and once in the head, witnesses told detectives.
