Woman Found Dead In Bristol Twp. Identified

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA —The woman who was found dead in a wooded area off Route 13 in Bristol Township last Wednesday morning has been identified.

Marie Holly Waters, 44, was identified by the Bucks County Coroner's Office as the woman. She was found dead in a homeless encampment, the coroner's office stated.

An autopsy completed Friday showed no signs of trauma, the coroner's office said. Results are pending.

Around 6:40 a.m. Wednesday, Bristol Township Police said they were summoned along with emergency medical rescue personnel to a wooded area in the 5000 block of Bristol Pike, Lt Sean Cosgrove said.

Authorities found an unresponsive adult female in the wooded area off of the northbound travel lanes of Bristol Pike (Route 13) between Beaver Dam Road and Green Lane.

Police said the death of the woman is under investigation.
