Hospital leaders credit the recognition to the daily efforts of local physicians, nurses, and staff, and note that several other Geisinger facilities across Pennsylvania were also honored.
   

• Remains Found in River Stumped Authorities for Years Until ‘Crucial Breakthrough': Uncovering Dad's 2017 Missing Persons Report (people.com) — Lewistown residents now know that remains found in the Susquehanna River in 2021 have been identified as those of Shane Allen Workman, who was last seen leaving his Lewistown home in 2017. DNA work finally connected the case, but local police say the investigation continues and are asking anyone with information to contact Det. Mary Woods.
