"To be recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Program is a great honor that demonstrates their dedication to academic success. I’m also proud of our staff, as they have assisted in the academic accomplishments of these eight students."

Over 90 percent of the semi-finalists will be named as finalists for the scholarship. Of those finalists, about half will win a scholarship.
