Today is one very important day on the calendar. It is Honest Abe’s birthday. When I decided to find out more about Abraham Lincoln, I didn’t know how interesting this guy was. The hardest part for me was deciding what bits of information to share in a short amount of space.
Honest Abe, born in 1809, was one cool dude. To learn more about him, I looked over a lot about what he was famous for: speaking. Read these to your kids, friends or family, and talk about what each means. Here are some of his notable quotes from Quotations Page:
