Business brief: After closing Limerick, other stores, Acme parent forecasts strong earnings
The company's Limerick store closed in February.

Supervalu, the Minnesota-based parent of the Acme supermarket chain, has forecast what the Philadelphia Inquirer called "strong earnings" of $1.20 to $1.40 per share for the 2012 fiscal year.
The company closed its Limerick store on February 26, at the end of the financial quarter, as part of a turnaround plan.
