A car blew past firefighters trying to block the road near an active fire in Spring City. Police pulled the car over and found $1K of pot.

SPRING CITY, PA — A man has been charged after driving through the scene of an active fire with $1,000 of pot on him, according to police.
The incident occurred during a blaze on South Church Street on Monday, according to authorities.
A trash truck caught fire near the intersection with North Cedar Street by the Highview Gardens. Crews from Liberty Fire Company battled the blaze and were able to swiftly extinguish it.

However, about an hour later, as a tow truck attempted to move the burned trash truck, it lit on fire again.
Firefighters returned back to the scene, but as they battled the blaze for a second time, they ran into some unexpected trouble when a car came barreling through the intersection.

"Notwithstanding the certain perils associated with this incident the driver of a silver Kia drove through the fire scene through the signals of fire personnel attempting to contain the fire and control the traffic at the scene," police said in their report.
Spring City police pulled the vehicle over near Poplar and South Church streets. The driver Darnell Charles Hines, had not merely ignored firefighters - he was also carrying with him about $1,000 in street value of marijuana, along with items to sell marijuana.
"I ask all motorists: when you see a fire scene, tow scene, police scene, MOVE OVER," police said. "The job these responders perform is dangerous enough without having to worry about being struck by a vehicle."
Hines was remanded to Chester County Prison when he did not post bail. A preliminary hearing is forthcoming.
