Celebration Of Life Planned For Spring-Ford's Late Zach Stewart
Family, friends and coworkers in the Spring-Ford community will join together for a celebration of the life of beloved teacher Zach Stewart.

ROYERSFORD, PA — A celebration of life has been planned for late Spring-Ford teacher Zach Stewart, who passed away at the age of 35 last month.
The event will take place on Aug. 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Spring-Ford School District's 9th Grade Center.
Stewart, who left behind a wife and two sons, taught Spanish at Spring-Ford for 13 years.

Organizers with the school and Precision Jiu-Jitsu of Spring Mount, where Stewart also taught, are anticipating a large turnout. The general public is invited to attend the event.
Organizers had the following to say about the celebration: "Attendees are invited to bring pictures of Zach, letters describing UPLIFTING stories about him, and items that he loved (bowties, Simpson's memorabilia, and anything else you can think of). All of these will be used to create a giant "Ofrenda" to honor Senor Stewart's memory. The items will then be stored for his sons to go through when they are old enough so that they know how special their dad was."

Food trucks will also be on site during the event.
A GoFundMe campaign in Stewart's memory has been launched and has already raised more than $50,000. The funds raised through the campaign will go to a college fund for his children, as well as help in creating a scholarship for a Spanish student at Spring-Ford.
