Did you know there are occupations in every career field that are Non-Traditional for women?

 The YWCA Tri-County Area is hosting its’ 4^th Year of the Young Woman “Girl Talk” series, titled Non-Traditional Careers.  This event will provide information to girls ages 8 and up, by insightful women working in various non-traditional careers.  Our speakers will explain their areas of expertise and the roadmap taken to reach their goals. 

 This discussion will give you a perspective about why you might want to consider a career as an engineer, a scientist, or the culinary arts field.  Often, these “non-traditional’ jobs are skilled or technical in nature and have a higher rate of pay than those traditionally held by women.
