Exelon to Donate $150,000 to Limerick Twp.

Total Contributions During the Last Four Years Total $500,000

The following information was submitted by Dana Melia, representing Exelon Nuclear:

Exelon Nuclear's will present a donation of $150,000 during the Limerick Township Board of Supervisors meeting on Tuesday evening at the at 7:00 p.m.

Limerick Site Vice President Bill Maguire will present the Board of Supervisors with the check. The contribution will be used to support the township's parks and recreational facilities and programs, as well as and Fire companies.

Exelon has donated $500,000 to Limerick Township during the past four years.  The funds helped restore Limerick Township’s playgrounds and parks, supported summer camp programs, and provided renovations to various emergency response facilities. In addition to the Township donation, each year, Exelon and employees of Limerick Generating Station contribute more than $400,000 to support various regional charities and community organizations.
