Farm To Table Dinner Series To Launch In Kimberton
One of the Phoenixville area's most unique dining experiences.
KIMBERTON, PA - Camphill Village Kimberton Hills has announced the next installment in its farm to table fundraising series: What’s For Dinner? on Saturday, January 30, starting at 6 p.m.
Guests are invited to join in this unique dining experience which features exciting three-way conversations among farmers, producers and consumers, the organization said in a press release.
As Kimberton Hills has a long tradition of sustainable farming, this event is a natural fit for the non-profit organization that has also lived and worked with adults with special needs for more than 40 years. As part of its 432-acre farm in Chester County, Kimberton Hills is home to a dairy, CSA garden, apiary, herb garden, orchard and bakery.

The evening’s menu will be filled with local and organic foods, many also biodynamic, either grown or raised right in Kimberton Hills, or by its neighbors. The event will begin with a cocktail hour, followed by dinner in the Camphill Café. Between courses, attendees will hear directly from the growers and producers to learn more about what they are eating and how it journeyed (not very far at all!) from the farm to their table.
The menu will be prepared by Chef Seth Williams of the Landis Store Hotel and is based on what is available at this time of year. As the event draws closer, parts of the menu will be revealed until finally guests find out “What’s for Dinner?”
