
POTTSTOWN, PA — Giant Food Stores has announced $3 million in donations to more than 2,300 schools across the country, and some of that cash is going to North Coventry Elementary School in Pottstown.
North Coventry will receive $11,309 as part of Giant's school fundraising program.
“This special partnership between our store teams and customers continues to grow to benefit more schools and students in our local communities,” said Tom Lenkevich, Giant's president. “We thank our customers who positively impact their local schools through their participation.”

Money is raised by customers who sign up and designate two schools to benefit from every purchase they make at a Giant store. Points are accrued on Bonus Cards from October through March.
