Amber was the type of girl who lived life to the fullest. She took advantage of every moment and cherished it. She loved life, her family and her friends. She worked Customer Service at Wegmans and enjoyed her job. Amber was also going to the Lansdale School of Business for Medical Administration. She adored the simple things in life. She loved her beautiful niece Autumn, Taylor Swift’s music, the color pink, chocolate water ice, bags, good times with family and friends and so much more.

On February 16, 2011 Amber’s world had changed. She was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. After battling this awful cancer and going through eight rounds of chemotherapy, Amber was in remission. She celebrated her 21st birthday on August 27. And sadly a few days later after a routine test, she got the dreadful call informing her that her cancer had come back. This time it came back as Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She fought hard & stayed strong. Amber never gave up hope.

On November 8, 2011, after 9 long months, Amber passed her fight onto her family and friends. We established the Amber Nicole Trowbridge Memorial Fund to keep fighting her battle. Our goal is to donate every dollar we raise to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in hopes that one day a cure is found. No one should ever have to suffer from this disease or suffer the loss of a loved one.
