"The plan is probably going to be pretty much the same," he said. "Make sure the government doesn't spend a lot of money and keeps the budgets low. My goal is small government and to run it like a business. We've got to take care of the people living here."
He had nothing but good words to say about his opponent.

"He was nothing but a gentleman," said St. Pedro. "I met him today for the first time and he was nothing but a gentleman."
One of the big highlights for St. Pedro was the fact that the township was changed from a single-A to a double-A rating, financially saving the township $250,000 a year in interest in the span of 2004 until now. The township can never achieve triple-A status, because it is not big enough.
"In today's world, you cannot give people everything they want, as much as they want it," he said. "At the end of the day, we have to keep things low because people don't want to pay anymore taxes. If we need to raise taxes to change from that double-A to an A, it's going to cost our citizens a lot more money."
NOTE: Election results are unofficial until certified by the county.
