Limerick Generation Station Cancels Tuesday Test, Will Reschedule

You didn't miss it. Limerick canceled their siren test on Tuesday afternoon. It will be rescheduled.

LIMERICK, PA — Limerick Generating Station canceled Tuesday's full siren test at the last minute, local officials confirmed. The test will be rescheduled for a later date.

The full siren test, which takes place twice annually in June and December, was first held on Monday, Dec. 3. However, there were unspecified "issues" with the sirens in Berks County, so Exelon scheduled another test for 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 4.

It's not yet clear what led them to cancel Tuesday's test, and if the issues on Monday and Tuesday were related.
