Make Some Noise For Spring-Ford Graduating Seniors Friday Night

The community is invited to join in sending off the Spring-Ford class of 2020 in socially distant style on Friday evening.

ROYERSFORD, PA — The community is invited to honk horns, ring bells, bang pots and pans, and turn on sirens Friday evening as the area honors and celebrates the Spring-Ford class of 2020 graduating seniors.

It's part of the school district unique graduation programming to honor members of the graduating class in what has become a very nontraditional senior year.

A virtual commencement will be broadcast at 7 p.m. on RCTV. At 8:12 p.m. Friday, as students watching turn their tassels, members of the community are invited to make some noise.

Graduates were filmed walking across the stage and receiving their diplomas in a socially distant manner, with their families watching, in recent weeks. All that footage has been put together with commencement speakers to create a full virtual graduation video ceremony that will aired Friday.

You can watch it all live online here.
