Man Phoned Bomb Threat To Get Woman Off Work In Royersford: Cops
A man called in a bomb threat last year to a local nursing home when a woman told him she couldn't get off work, police said.

ROYERSFORD, PA -- A man phoned in a bomb threat to a Montgomery County nursing home last year to get a woman off of work for the day, police said.
The incident occurred back on Feb. 20, 2017 at the Parkhouse Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Royersford.
Jess Tunde Washington, 39, made multiple calls to the facility on that day to the woman, who told him that she was unable to leave work, police said.

Once he heard the news, Washington, who was in Brooklyn at the time, called again and asked for security, and told them he was going to "blow up the parking lot."
Police and the Montgomery County Sheriff's Bomb Squad arrived on the scene and restricted access to the facility, including restrictions on patients and ambulance services.

A lengthy investigation identified Washington, and he confessed to investigators over the phone, police said.
He faces charges of threat to use weapons of mass destruction, terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person, disorderly conduct and harassment, obstructing administration of law, and related counts.
A preliminary hearing is forthcoming.
