Meth Lab Discovered In Montgomery County Apartment Complex

Breaking: The apartment has been condemned and four residents were taken into custody.

SANATOGA, PA — A meth lab was found inside a Montgomery County apartment building early Wednesday morning.

Lower Pottsgrove Police were tipped off at around 3 a.m. Wednesday that illegal drug manufacturing was occurring at the Rolling Hills Apartments, located on 2120 Buchert Road.

Inside one of the apartments, police found numerous components indicating the production of methamphetamine.

There were four individuals inside the apartment when police arrived. Though they have not been identified by police nor formally charged, all were taken into custody.

The apartment where the meth operation was discovered was condemned by the Lower Pottsgrove Codes Department due to the volatile chemicals there.

The investigation remains ongoing.

Lower Pottsgrove Police were assisted by the Pennsylvania State Police Clandestine Lab unit, the Montgomery County Detectives, Upper Pottsgrove Township Police. Limerick Township Police, and Royersford Borough Police Department on the scene.
