Numerous Vehicles Broken Into Overnight In Upper Providence

Police are seeking residential security footage and ask the public to keep an eye out for a man "dressed in all black."

UPPER PROVIDENCE, PA — Multiple vehicles were broken into and had items stolen on Tuesday morning in Upper Providence, police said.

The incidents occurred between 1:09 a.m. and 2:15 a.m. on Starmont Way and Adeline Way.

Police said that in each case, the thieves entered vehicles that were unlocked and stole credit cards from inside.

The credit cards were later used at a store in New Jersey, officials said.

"We would like to ask any residents on Borough Line Road, Valley View Drive, Hess Road, and adjacent areas who have cameras on their property to check around the times of these thefts for subjects who may have been in your driveways or walking near vehicles," police said.

Authorities added they are searching for a suspect dressed in all black in the videos.
