Purposeless Traffic Light Slated To Be Removed From West High Street
As it currently stands, the West Pottsgrove light adds significant traffic by causing motorists to stop for no reason.

Long awaited traffic improvements may be on the way on West High Street in West Pottsgrove, according to the Pottstown Mercury.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has finally agreed to remove the Flagg Lane traffic signal, which was installed to deal with traffic from a factory that is now defunct, according to the report.
The Stanley G. Flagg Brass plant has been out of operation for 18 years.

It is not known why the light was not removed when the plant was first shut down.
