Royersford Borough Council Selects New Councilman: Paul Chrisman
Chrisman was appointed to former councilman and current Mayor John Guest's seat.
In a unanimous decision by the Council at Tuesday night's borough council meeting, current Planning Commission Chairman Paul Chrisman was appointed to John Guest's seat. Guest's seat was when he was interim mayor due to the of former Mayor Dave Urner.
Chrisman is the owner of in East Vincent Township.
"It became available and I've been coming to meetings for years," Chrisman said of going after the position. "I've been involved in the planning commission so this is just the next step."

He said he had no new plans for changes in the borough, but simply to keep the borough moving along the way they have been. Council President Tom Weikel said there were four applicants for the position, which ends in 2013.
"[They were all] very good candidates," said Weikel. "It was a difficult decision."
