Royersford's Pope John Paul II HS To Hold 9/11 Memorial
Pope John Paul II high school in Royersford will hold a 9/11 tribute on the 15th anniversary of the terrorist attacks.

ROYERSFORD, PA -- Pope John Paul II High School in Royersford will hold a 9/11 tribute on the 15th anniversary of the terrorist attacks, the Archdiocese of Philadelphia announced.
On the steps of the school’s Student Terrace, the service will honor Law Enforcement and First Responders and highlight the dedicated service provided by the men and women whom the community depend on for safety and welfare, a press release states.
The school’s new president Jason Bozzone will greet those in attendance and Father Brian Kean, Campus Minister, will lead a prayer service.

In addition to the school community, first responders including the Upper Providence Township Police Department (Chief and Officers), Trappe Fire Company, Trappe Ambulance, Royersford Fire Company as well as Pennsylvania Representative Michael Vereb (150th Legislative District) and Pennsylvania Representative Thomas Quigley (146th Legislative District) will be in attendance.
“As we start the new school year, it is only fitting that we honor our local heroes for their service” said Andrew John, a senior and Student Council President, in a press release. “It is important to show the respect and admiration they deserve for making our community safe and secure” he added.

The high school is located on 181 Rittenhouse Road.
