Skimming Device Found At Spring City Turkey Hill: Cops
The recent surge in skimming devices around the area has spread to Spring City, police say.

SPRING CITY, PA — The recent surge in skimming devices around the area has spread to Spring City, police say.
The day after police in Limerick and Lower Pottsgrove townships announced a joint investigation into a number of skimmers recently found in area stores, Spring City police discovered a similar incident.
Suspects entered the Turkey Hill located on Main and Bridge streets at around 8:22 p.m. on Monday night.

One of the suspects distracted the store clerk, while the other installed the skimming device on the checkout's credit card reader, police said.
Authorities believe that they were able to remove the device before the accounts of any victims were compromised.

However, if you have used a credit card reader at Turkey Hill in recent days, you should still check your bank account for any suspicious activity.
Spring City Police said that they are joining the investigation with Liemrick and Lower Pottsgrove authorities.
