Spring-Ford Bands Take Home Awards From Atlanta Competition
Spring Ford's bands took home 11 awards from the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl Music Festival in Atlanta over the weekend.
ROYERSFORD, PA — Once again, Spring Ford Area High School's bands are doing the area proud.
The school's Marching Band, Symphonic Band, and Concert Band took home a grand total of 11 awards from the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl Music Festival in Atlanta over the weekend.
That included individual wins from juniors Ryan Henkels and A.J. Rangalia, and numerous team wins.

"This was an amazing opportunity and experience," the Spring-Ford Music Association said in a statement. "Our students, faculty, staff and volunteers did a great job of showing the nation what amazing talent and hard work we have at Spring-Ford in our music programs."

Symphonic/Concert Band Awards
- Grand Champion
- Outstanding Soloist - Ryan Henkels (Junior - French Horn)
- 1st place - Category 3 Gold Rating (Symphonic Band - 10-12 grade)
- 1st place - Open class Silver Rating (Concert Band - 9th Grade)
Jazz Band Awards
- Grand Champion
- Outstanding Section - Saxophone
- Outstanding Soloist - A.J. Ranaglia (Junior - Alto Sax)
- 1st place - Category 3 Gold Rating
Field Show Awards
- Outstanding Auxiliary
- 1st Place - Category 3 Gold Rating
Parade Awards
- Grand Champion
- 1st Place - Category 3 Gold Rating
