ROYERSFORD, PA -- The Spring-Ford Area School District held a Veterans Day assembly on Friday morning honoring those who have served and sacrificed for the nation. The assembly took place in the 5/6 Grade Center. More than 30 current and retired military personnel were in attendance at the special event. Students sang, read poems and shared messages of thanks. All grades of students were present at the event. ROYERSFORD, PA -- The Spring-Ford Area School District held a Veterans Day assembly on Friday morning honoring those who have served and sacrificed for the nation.

The assembly took place in the 5/6 Grade Center. More than 30 current and retired military personnel were in attendance at the special event.

Students sang, read poems and shared messages of thanks. All grades of students were present at the event. Afterwards, students and veterans mingled together and had the chance to get to know one another.
